rainmeter deadspace scorpian suite wifi meter by louiezzz rainmeter deadspace scorpian suite wifi meter by louiezzz
this is another element of my dead space rig theme.
first of all, it's updated base on Omnimo wifi meter. All credit goes to original author, I don't need any. I do this just to entertian myself. I used most of original version idea and code, just added a cool scorpian suite to present the wifi signal strength. The suite has 8 cell. Each presents 12.5% percent of wifi signal. You lose 12.5% of signal you loose one cell. Reversely you get one cell back. Under 37.5%, remaining 3/2 cell becomes yellow, under 12.5% last cell becomes red.
the suite pic is from dead space icon pack. author has credit for that too.

I like your work here but wanted to personalize a bit with a different font color.
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but I changed the first 3 RGB colors to 170,125,80 with notepad and saved and refreshed with both the .ini and the ini.bak but hte text stays white.
I still don't know what the fourth 3 digit number is.
I like the left side by the way.

I absolutely love the concept of this mini-skin, but you might want to think about cleaning the code up a little so that the users are alter it more easily. I was initially really pumped for this but I (just my preference, not reflective of anyone else) didn't see the need to incorporate the WiFi signal to the left of the suit when there is already the suit itself and a numerical display. The numerical % along with the cool effect of the suit were plenty. The WiFi config wasn't a huge deal as it was easy to isolate and remove from the code but I couldn't seem to do anything with the left signal without altering the suit as well. If I'm wrong please correct me as I'm still no old pro, but I get enough to navigate myself without having to ask questions most of the time.

Otherwise I think this is a great design and I'd LOVE to see one of these with a simple suit and a XXX% in a nice font (or choice font) as a battery meter instead of a WiFi meter.

thanks for sharing your opinion on this little skin. This is one of my earliest rainmeter skin, by then i was learing myself, and code inside might look messy. when I have time I will do a bit cleanup.

The left side is not necessary, i agree. Try remove following section should get rid of it.

[Signal2]
Meter=image
MeasureName=MeasureStrengthImg2
ImageName=..\resources\[MeasureStrengthImg2].png
X=-30r
Y=25r
w=32
h=32
antialias=1
;ImageTint=102,211,213,250

following text for 'config' need update position.
